Contact
Questions about privacy or your rights can be sent to kontakt@robertsenmaritime.no. The company registration number and business address will be published when registration is complete.
Information we process
When you register, we process your name, phone number, email, residence, area of work, current and desired role, experience, certificates, courses, vessel types, preferred job type and rotation, availability, and information you enter in free-text fields.
During follow-up we may also record your candidate number, contact dates, CV and documentation, reference checks, mobilisation status, professional assessment and necessary internal notes. Do not submit national ID numbers, bank details, health information or other sensitive data in the form.
Purpose and legal basis
We use the information to create and manage your candidate profile, assess your qualifications, contact you about relevant work and, after informing you about the opportunity, introduce you to a potential employer. The legal basis is your consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a).
Registration is voluntary. Without the required information we cannot create or follow up your profile. We do not use your information for marketing or solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Who has access
The candidate database is not public. Access is limited to authorised Robertsen Maritime personnel who need it for their work. Information is only shared with a potential employer after you have been informed about the opportunity.
OpenAI and Cloudflare provide technical hosting, database and security services and may process data as processors. Transfers outside the EEA must use a valid transfer mechanism, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
Retention and deletion
Your candidate profile is stored for up to 12 months from registration and then deleted unless you provide new consent. We delete it earlier if you withdraw consent or request deletion, unless we are legally required to retain specific information.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and, where applicable, data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time without negative consequences. This does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
Send requests to kontakt@robertsenmaritime.no. We may request information needed to verify your identity. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
